Nevada CDL practice test

1. Who is required to hold a CDL in Nevada?

When you operate a commercial motor vehicle that exceeds a gross weight of 26,000 pounds, school buses or a vehicle transporting at least 16 passengers (including the driver), or haul hazardous items in quantities requiring placarding in Nevada state, obtaining a NE Commercial Driver License is a must. 

2. How many questions are there in a Nevada CDL test?

The knowledge test questions will include traffic signs, signals, speed limits, proper rules, trucking laws, and vehicle inspections, as well as commercial vehicle safety to guarantee that you are certified to operate a commercial vehicle. 4. How to get a Commercial Driver's License in Nevada?

To be eligible for a Nevada commercial driver's license, you need to prove that you're currently a Nevada resident and a U.S citizen. Besides, you're required to be at least 18 years old to drive a commercial vehicle within Nevada state, and 21 years old if you want to drive outside the state.
